KUWAIT SOCIETY FOR RELIEF (KSR) is working for the people of Bangladesh along with the Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh. KSR implements its charitable Projects by informing Local Administration like Deputy Commissioners, Upazilla Nirbahi Officers and also involving local Public representatives . Anybody can apply for Projects or donations through the above Officers.
Kuwait General Hospital :
For broad-based voluntary Medicare facilities among the poor people of Bangladesh KSR has established 7-storied 200-beded Kuwait General Hospital in the year 1996 at a cost of Tk. 10-Crore on the 3 acre Governments’ RAJUK gifted plot at Uttara sector # 6 with the financial assistance of “People’s Committee Kuwait” a member Organization of KSR and handed over the Hospital to Bangladesh Government in presence of KSR’s foreign delegate Engr. Tarek Al-Issa of “People’s Committee” and H H Abdullah-Al-Muhaitib, the honorable Ambassador of Kuwait in Bangladesh, on 15-03-1999 by a elaborate ceremonial function.The Ambassadors and Diplomats of Arabian Country including Saudi Arabia were present in the function.
