Relief & Rehabilitation Program:
Bangladesh is a Riverine Country. Natural calamities like, Flood, Cyclone, Hurricane, etc. are the regular phenomenon in Bangladesh. KUWAIT SOCIETY FOR RELIEF (KSR) launches Emergency Relief program among the victims during natural disaster as well as undertake rehabilitation program like construction of poor house, poor village, Installation of Deep & Shallow Tube well etc.
KSR distributed large quantities of relief goods e.g. rice, pulse, oil, salt, oresaline, utensils among the Cyclone AILA affected people in presence of Donors of The State of Kuwait . We constructed 100 poor houses at AILA affected areas of Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Patuakhali, Bhola, Borguna, Pirojpur & Jhalokati in the year 2009. We also distributed food grains packs as relief to the Food & Monga affected areas of Bogra, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Kurigram & Jamalpur Districts.
